Dual immersion night

I am really liking our new school and the dual immersion program.  They have DI nights a couple of times a year to celebrate different Spanish speaking cultures. The first was a week ago.  They celebrated the Day of the Dead and we learned how some Hispanic cultures celebrated the lives of their loved ones who have passed.  Hyrum made a candle in memory of his great grandmother and a jar to put the candle in.  Zion wrote a paragraph about Day of the Dead.  They made masks, danced, and had a relay race.  They are learning to respect other cultures along with learning to speak their language.
